Jill Ritter, MD, FACR
Dr. Ritter has been in practice for 20 years in Livingston, NJ caring for patients from age 18-99. She believes in the importance of the doctor-patient relationship and spending dedicated time with every patient. Dr. Ritter is well-respected in the industry and has a reputation for being thorough, dedicated and committed to her specialty. She has been recognized by her peers as a “Top Doctor” in NJ Monthly Magazine since 2007.
Dr. Ritter takes pride in devising an individualized treatment plan for each patient and personally communicating a clear and concise medical evaluation to their entire team of physicians.
She attended Tufts University for her undergraduate, New York University School of Medicine for her doctorate and completed her internship, residency and fellowship in Rheumatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Ritter has been on the medical staff of Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Department of Medicine, since 1994. She was also a consultant in Rheumatology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ and Bayonne Hospital in Bayonne, NJ until January of 2000. From July 1994 to September 2009, Dr. Ritter held a position as Partner and Assistant Director at the Arthritis & Rheumatic Disease Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
Dr. Ritter is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Rheumatology and New Jersey Rheumatology Association.

Joy Ravago
Joy is Dr. Ritter’s manager and medical assistant. She has a reputation of being friendly and dedicated to providing the best care possible. Joy is always striving to find medical solutions for patients and expanding her knowledge of medicine.
Joy is a major asset to the practice and a huge support in helping patients navigate the medical system. She helps to facilitate and schedule appointments, communicate with insurance companies and coordinate with other physicians.
She goes above and beyond her role, with a genuine devotion to helping patients understand their medical situation and ensuring everything they need is addressed in a timely and thorough manner.
Joy attended Berdan Institute where she received her medical assistant certification in 1994. She completed her externship at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Atkins-Kent Building in Livingston, NJ.
Joy has over 10 years experience as a medical assistant in both clinical and administrative settings and three years experience as an assistant supervisor working for a previous private practice.
Erin McKim
Erin works alongside Joy as one of Dr. Ritter’s medical assistants. Erin assists with all aspects of the practice including patient vitals, helping with medical requirements and contributing to the best solutions for treatment. She assists with phone calls and authorizations and works with insurance companies on patient coverage.
Erin received her RMA, registered medical assistant, certification at Lincoln Technical Institute where she graduated in 2009. She has worked in gynecology and urology and is now a critical piece of Dr. Ritter’s arthritis and rheumatology practice. Erin grew up in NJ, where she has worked most of her life. She briefly moved to Maryland for a couple of years and soon moved back to her home state.
